What will be covered?
That is in your own policy, and it differs per person. This checklist shows exactly what to look up, so there are no surprises.

Physiotherapy in your supplementary insurance
For adults, physiotherapy is usually not part of basic insurance. Cover then comes from your supplementary insurance.
Check your policy: Check your policy statement or your insurer’s app to see whether you have supplementary cover, then search it for “physiotherapy”.
Maximum number of treatments per year
Supplementary policies often have a maximum per calendar year. Treatments at another practice count too.
Check your policy: The number is in your policy. How many you have used is often shown in your insurer’s app or website.
Contract with the practice
If your insurer has no contract with the practice, you may get less back.
Check your policy: Ask our reception or check your insurer’s provider search.
This is not a coverage decision. Only your health insurer decides what you are reimbursed. Not sure? Call your insurer or ask our reception.
Calculator
How many treatments do you have left?
Enter the number from your policy and how many you have had this year, including at another practice. Your insurer keeps the official count.
Based on what you entered, you have 9 treatments left. Check this with your insurer.
