Crown

Dentist and dental labTwo appointments, with a temporary crown in between

A crown is a cap over a weak or heavily filled tooth. A lab makes it to measure, so lab costs are added on top of the fee.

  1. A written cost estimate first
  2. Preparing the tooth and taking an impression or scan
  3. A temporary crown for about two weeks
  4. Fitting the final crown and checking your bite

Root canal treatment

DentistOne to three appointments

If the nerve in a tooth is inflamed or has died, we clean the canals and seal them. This often lets you keep the tooth.

  1. Anaesthetic and a small X-ray
  2. Cleaning and rinsing the canals
  3. Filling the canals and sealing them
  4. Often a filling or crown afterwards

Extraction

Dentist20 to 45 minutes

Sometimes an extraction is the best choice. We always discuss the alternatives first, and what to expect afterwards.

  1. Discussing why, and the alternatives
  2. Proper anaesthetic
  3. The extraction, sometimes with a small cut in the gum
  4. Written aftercare tips to take home

Children’s check-up

Dentist or hygienist15 minutes, at a child’s pace

Children are welcome from their first tooth. We show and let them feel everything first, and keep it short and fun.

  2. Counting teeth with the little mirror
  3. Brushing tips for child and parent
