Hygiene & children
Clean, healthy and unhurried
Our dental hygienists help you keep your gums and teeth healthy. And children are always welcome here, even while the rest of the family is still on the waiting list.

Dental hygiene
Every six months, your way
At the hygienist you remove tartar and stains together, look at your gums and get tips that suit your mouth. Practical, without a lecture.

- Cleaning (M03) costs €13.90 per five minutes. A normal cleaning takes 15 to 30 minutes.
- Usually every six months. With healthy gums it can sometimes be less often.
You automatically get a reminder by text, email or letter, as you prefer. Replying or calling is enough to book.
Children
Welcome from the first tooth
We always register children from our area straight away. Up to 18, basic insurance pays for most dental care, with no deductible.
- 0 – 4 years
A first visit around the first tooth. On a parent’s lap, looking and counting. Tips on brushing and the bottle or cup.
- 5 – 11 years
Six-monthly check-up. The permanent molars come through; sometimes a fluoride treatment. Children may hold the little mirror themselves.
- 12 – 17 years
Check-up and cleaning, extra attention with braces. We talk to the teenager directly; parents are welcome to join.
Brushing at home, keeping it fun
- Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste. Until about age ten, a parent brushes afterwards.
- A fixed place and time, for example with a two-minute song.
- Water or milk between meals; keep sweet things to mealtimes.
