Basic care
For problems that a shorter treatment can help you get on top of. Usually 5 to 12 sessions.
Anxiety, depression and other problems.
What we treat
We treat adults, at our two locations or by video call. If we are not the right place, we would rather say so before a long wait than after.

Two routes
Which route applies is in your GP’s referral letter. Is your GP unsure? Then we look at it together in the intake conversation.

Anxiety, depression and other problems.
For more severe or long-standing problems. A lead clinician oversees your treatment, which can be longer or more intensive.
All six diagnosis groups below.
What we help with
These are also the groups in which we publish our waiting times. Which group your needs fall in is decided by a clinician in the intake conversation, not by the website.
Panic, worry, social anxiety and phobias.
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), also in a group.
Low mood that does not lift, including after a loss or burnout.
CBT, interpersonal therapy (IPT) and ACT.
Problems after a distressing event.
EMDR and trauma-focused CBT.
Obsessive thoughts and compulsions.
Exposure with response prevention.
Long-standing patterns in how you think, feel and relate to others.
Schema therapy, individual and group (Centrum only).
For example adjustment problems or physical complaints with a psychological side.
Short CBT or ACT.
Honest up front
Not because it matters less, but because you will get the right help sooner elsewhere. Your GP knows where.
