Crisis, complaints & privacy
Where to turn when you need to
Praktijk De Luwte is not a crisis service. Outside our phone hours we cannot be reached. These people can, day and night.

In crisis
Thinking about suicide?
113 Suicide Prevention is available day and night, anonymously.
Not coping right now?
Call your own GP. In the evening, at night and at weekends, call the out-of-hours GP service (huisartsenpost).
In immediate danger?
Call 112.
For practical questions, reach our front office on 0123 45 80 10, Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 12:30. Call the front office
Complaints
Unhappy about something? We want to hear it, even if it seems small.
- Discuss it with your clinician
A misunderstanding is often resolved in one conversation.
- Independent complaints officer
If that does not work, or you would rather not? Our complaints officer does not work for the practice and helps you free of charge, in confidence.
- Disputes committee
If we cannot resolve it together, you can go to the recognised disputes committee we are affiliated with, as the Wkkgz requires.
Privacy
What you tell us stays with us. Your clinician is bound by professional confidentiality.
- The website never asks about your symptoms, diagnosis or citizen service number. You discuss that at the practice.
- We share nothing with your employer or others without your consent. With your GP only what is needed for your care, and we ask you first.
- We keep your file for 20 years, as the law requires. You may always see it and ask for corrections.
- The question assistant on this site is an AI assistant and is labelled as such. It only receives your question, never your name.
- In this example, everything you enter stays in your own browser.
