Household help
A clean home brings peace of mind. If cleaning has become difficult, our household help can take it on. It is usually the same person who comes every week, on a fixed day.
What we do
- Cleaning the living room, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom
- Changing the beds and doing the laundry
- Making a shopping list together
- Noticing when things at home are not going so well
What this does not include
- Outside windows and large jobs
- Personal care: our care workers do that
Who it is for
For people who can no longer (fully) manage the housework themselves.
How care starts
- You contact us or the municipality's Wmo desk
- The municipality decides about the help
- We schedule a fixed day and a regular helper
- After six weeks we call to see how it is going
How is it paid for?
Household help is usually arranged through the municipality of Vlietstad (Wmo). The municipality decides how much help you get and may ask for a personal contribution. We are happy to explain how it works.
