Four teams, around the corner
Every neighbourhood has its own team of nine to thirteen colleagues. They cycle down your street, know your GP and know where the baker is.

Costs and funding
Who pays for care?
Care at home is funded through three different laws. We explain how it works in plain language. Whether you qualify is never decided by the website: we discuss that in person.
How funding works- ZvwHealth Insurance Act (Zvw)
Community nursing and most personal care at home are covered by your basic health insurance. There is no excess (eigen risico) for community nursing.
- WmoSocial Support Act (Wmo)
Household help and support are usually arranged through the municipality of Vlietstad. The municipality may ask for a personal contribution.
- WlzLong-term Care Act (Wlz)
If someone permanently needs care or supervision throughout the day, the Long-term Care Act may apply. Often people can still stay at home.
